Nowadays young Europeans are placed in increasingly problematic situations, both social and political. This fact raises the following question: are the policies for youth capable of solving these difficulties? In response, the article looks in turn at the stigmatization involved in youth policies, their inadequate scale and the significant inequalities between regions. One sees a growing gap between the critical situation of the young and the serious lack of determination in policies related to them.
