In Latin American and the Caribbean as in many other regions, the studies about abortion have mainly focused on women because of their most important role. However, the involvement of men in the sexuality and reproduction is achieving a growing interest for researchers. Actually, the men intervene in many fields related to abortion both from the public and private sphere. In this article we first document some of the academic research about abortion from a masculine view. Secondly, we present the results of several researches about the men’s responses to this topic.
