This article reflects on the best way to take parenthood into account in the context of a child’s psychotherapy treatment. Drawing on the history of parents in psychoanalysis, we explore the relevance of the concept of triangular space, using Ronald Britton’s theorization of the concept and a detailed clinical presentation.
