The basket system for purchasing organic and local agricultural products has been developing in recent years in France. The success of one of these, Paniers Bio Solidaires (PBS), conceals a problem concerning the re-subscription of members. This study aims to explore and to test more broadly the factors leading customers to maintain their subscription to a basket system. The results show that (1) members have differentiated profiles; (2) commitment and satisfaction are the main determinants of behavioral intentions; and (3) changes in eating habits do not build commitment.
