Kaoutar Harchi is a writer and sociologist who specializes in the field of literature. Her studies are related to shared memory, the representation of visible minorities and coloniality issues. In this interview she has agreed to do with us, she addresses topics that saturate the public debate, such as race, separatism and the alleged “islamic-leftism”. She focuses on the case of Francophone Algerian writers whose status remains ambiguous, between partial recognition and massive stigmatization.
