Bernard Njonga’s entrepreneurial commitment resonates with the challenges of the globalized world. While his biographical experience has been set in an authoritarian and extraverted atmosphere, our mediator has capitalized on a rich career as an activist, enabling him to be both the author of his life and actor of his world. Facing political interference and the harmful effects of triumphant economic liberalism, Bernard’s life course, forged by ordeals, endeavors to preserve a coherent identity. In this, his involvement with the Cameroonian peasant world is linked to his subjectivity, while still resonating with the global stakes of social movements.
