This thematic issue focuses on systemic approaches to the family. It examines the mutually enriching contributions of research and clinical practice in the field of family and child development. The five papers shed transdisciplinary light on this topic (sociology, clinical psychology, intercultural psychology, and developmental psychology) and encourage researchers and clinicians to develop new representations and ways of thinking and practicing.
