This paper questions the links that exist between didactics and the humanities and social sciences from the point of view of two researchers in sociology and the educational sciences. Through the cases of psychology and anthropology, the paper shows first of all that, despite a genuine willingness to dialogue, these links are not always explicit. It then suggests possible means of dialogue on the topic of assessment and on methodological issues.
