Corinne Renard, Director of the Eole incubator in Grand Narbonne in the Aude region, and Claire Raveneaux, Head of the Entrepreneurship Department at the Gard CCI, took part in a cross-interview on their practice and their approach to support tools and their evolution. They were interviewed by Marie-Hélène Girbau-Grimoin and Yann Papastratis who, on behalf of the CCIs and CMAs of the Occitanie region, co-founded Pro’créa, the national conference of entrepreneurial support actors.
Corinne Renard and Claire Raveneaux have in common a great professionalism, a long experience of the coaching profession and the permanent search for the best response to the expectations of project leaders. But they differ in their methods, which are linked to the constraints of their organisations: tailor-made treatment for a small number of innovative projects in the incubator, and a more standardised approach, due to the large volume of creators received, in the consular network.
Very critical of tools that become the goal instead of serving it, or of supports imposed by considerations unrelated to the needs of the creators, the two practitioners take a distanced view of the tools they use, which, in the end, are merely the materialisation of their support process.
