The role proximity plays in efficiently matching supply and demand on local labour markets and in the creation of vocational degrees is known. We also know that the "specificity" of certain markets requires special coordination arrangements. We propose in this paper to highlight the importance of this dual theoretical perspective in order to understand the impact of coordination schemes on labour markets and training. To this end, we are particularly interested in the creation and recent development of the vocational degree for "payroll and personnel administration assistants". We demonstrate changes in the specificity of the training product and in the forms of proximity to which local actors have access.
