The question of cultural diversity has informed thirty years of the journal’s work, without ever losing its strength; it remains as relevant as ever due to its political, demographic, and economic dimensions. The right to linguistic diversity on the Internet was long ignored by legal bodies and is now conflated with identity-based nationalist demands, thereby calling into question the “traditional” order of the world.
