CAIRN-INT.INFO : International Edition

Description

Hypothèses publishes works produced as part of the Ph.D studies program in history at the University of Paris I.

The Ph.D. studies program is open to training all French and foreign historians. This is an epistemological process and provides a perspective that prohibits researchers from working on a strictly individual basis. The purpose of the Ph.D studies program is to enable collective oversight within the context of seminars related to the Diploma of Advanced Studies degrees (DEAs) and CNRS laboratories with which they are associated.

Several areas of history-related research and teaching are studied exclusively or nearly exclusively at the University of Paris I, such as:

History of the Ancient Near East

History of Ancient and Modern Africa

History of the Orient of the Middle-Ages

History of North and South America

History of the Slavs

History of the French Revolution

History of Science and Technology, etc.

Code of ethics

The Code of Ethics applicable to drafting committees and editorial boards of academic journals offered on Cairn.info, including Hypothèses, is available on this page.
