English
To understand eating disorders in childhood, the fate of the originator should be viewed as the expression of a dysfunction in the establishment of the transitional object and space. This is linked in turn to the quality of the proto-representative function of the archaic material. These proto-representations are reactivated and developed through experiences and exchanges which the child goes through, in a potentially fruitful interactive spiral.
