In this article, a clinical team from the Maison des Adolescents (Cochin Hospital) in adoption therapy analyzes their clinical sessions held by videoconference. During the lockdown period, some adoptive families experienced a happy and necessary regression, which allowed a reinforcement of their family bonds and mutual identifications. The clinical sessions held by videoconference became a transitional space between the family space and the classic therapeutic space. On the other hand, the videoconference sessions were problematic in regard to countertransference and the clinical relevance for families, who had experienced trauma. The destabilization of the meta-frame has fragilized the holding capacity and the transitional function of the therapeutic space.
