The Anthropocene Era calls into question the capitalist paradigm of indefinite growth and rampant consumerism. To cope with climate change, humans have to prescribe themselves limits. What can motivate them towards self-limitation without renouncing to self-fulfilment? How to educate to the sense of limits? Here we show that one cannot educate to the sense of limits without educating to the unlimited, that is to say, without realigning the human potential for the absence of limits, from the material unlimited to the relational and poetic unlimited.
