Our healthcare system results from the behaviors of all stakeholders and, of course, of its users. Its development in order to reduce healthcare inequalities and optimize contributions from all individuals will need to consider the behaviors of those to whom it is intended–the users–who should ideally adopt it. It is primarily through information and health education that users of the system will become more aware of the healthcare issues for both themselves and the community to which they belong, thus making them active in their own healthcare and of health in general, thus contributing to new forms of solidarity.
