CAIRN-INT.INFO : International Edition

This article studies small-scale farmers who have decided to invest in organic farming by recreating a biosphere and trust through social networks and direct access to customers. Their actions do not seem limited to food production, but they are working on producing and passing on their knowledge and know-how to feed human beings, as well as offering them a sense of fulfillment in their lives. They seem to develop resources to counter the anxiety of farming by elaborating several goals, taking multiple risks, and cultivating numerous, transmittable, and durable resources and supports.
