The aim of this article is to describe the work of the consultant in an action-research intervention for an organization in the healthcare sector. The authors first explain their role as consultants conducting transformational work on a group level, based on their intervention for the organization mentioned above, which was marked by a conflictual dynamic. They then present the different stages of the intervention. These stages aim to transform the subjective experience of the members of the group by allowing them to make sense of their experience and to initiate a thought-process, with the final objective of facilitating cooperation between the different members of the organization.
