The weakening of parental positions, through the evolution of morals and medically assisted reproduction, calls into question the legal principles at the foundation of the traditional family model. The child and the educational role of parents are placed at the center of the social concerns and of the current debates on the complex relationships between parenthood and filiation. The article provides some insights into this complexity, the uncertainty it generates, and the perspectives that emerge.
