The upheavals in the public and political sphere since the 1970s have led us to think differently about the organization of public action. This has led to the conception of an entirely new image, that of the elected representative entrepreneur. Through this article, we propose a new interpretative framework based on entrepreneurial action, which places the relationship to projects, and thus the relationship with their temporality, at the heart of the analysis. This makes it possible to create a relevant and useful bridge between the contributions of public management and entrepreneurship research, allowing for the most complete possible understanding of the elected representative entrepreneur.
