Psychotropes, an international, peer-reviewed journal on drug addiction, deals with psychotropic substances, their uses, and the addictions that can result from them. Psychotropes is open to various approaches to addiction—clinical, epidemiological, historical, sociological, anthropological, economic—but its central focus is studying the use and abuse of drugs. It reports on the main currents of thought but also on the extreme diversity of practices generated throughout the world by research, prevention, and care efforts.
