This paper brings to a close the series of “Exchanges” that began with our previous article entitled “Materialism as principium of an agenda for critical communication researches” (2015), to which five colleagues’ replied (Fleury, Walter, 2016). Here, we reply to some of their “irritations” and we try to meet some of their interpellations, which it seemed useful to answer as specifically as possible. We hope that the reading of all the texts written for those “Exchanges” will provide resources for other thoughts, other works, and other forms of critical reflexivity.
