In this article, we purport to study a research training scheme based on the principles of interactional analysis, implemented in the field of early childhood education. Specifically, we are interested in the way in which a training scheme can provide an opportunity to identify, support and develop competences mobilised by professionals when interacting with parents. We are also interested in the benefits of such an approach and its contribution to the professionalisation process of early childhood education work.
