Local products are built on the basis of resources anchored in a territory. The development and commercialization of these so-called “specific or territorial” resources contribute to the internal dynamization of the local economy, which favors the creation of territorial added value. Through qualitative and netnographic research, the authors seek to account for the contribution of the operative intentionality of cooperatives to the valorization of the heritage of Essaouira in Morocco, while studying the impact of their activities on the local economy. The initial results of this research show the importance of the joint mobilization of all the stakeholders of the territory to make any territorial project possible.
