X. Thévenot is best known to us for his contribution to sexual ethics. Yet he has also established his presence in liturgical life by helping people to advance along the path of their moral lives. This being said, liturgy is not exempt from psycho-affective ambiguities. It requires that we take many links for granted. Liturgy is a strong link connecting the universal, the specific and the unique. Finally, it demands ethical discernment.
