Description

Revue d’études comparatives Est-Ouest (RECEO) was set up by the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) in 1970 and now publishes original research papers on the post-Soviet area of Europe and Eurasia. With a determinedly comparative and multidisciplinary approach, it accepts articles from the various social science disciplines (economics, sociology, law, political science, geography, etc.). RECEO focuses on articles that propose conceptual and explanatory approaches, contributions to theoretical debate and empirical research that take account of the plurality of national homelands. It favors the comparison of ideas, scientific exchange and cooperation between researchers from the various social science disciplines and geographical areas the journal covers. It publishes articles in French and English. The journal is peer-reviewed and internationally indexed.
