It tries to draw up the analytical experience as defined by Castoriadis embeded into self-impairment category and connected with 19th century practices and thoughts that have theorized emancipation. It also draws the attention on mutual impairment that both analytical and emancipation devices perform over the ego. In between, this paper also intends to tell the relationship between psychoanalysis and what Jacques Ranciere call politics.
