CAIRN-INT.INFO : International Edition

Description

The Revue Économique was founded in 1950 by leading research institutes and has published original research in all areas of theoretical and empirical economic research. It aims to offer as much visibility as possible to all points of view in economic analysis. Along the same line, it is particularly open to contributions from other social sciences which are likely to enrich the thinking and methods of economists.

Edited by the Presses de Sciences Po, the Revue Économique is published six times a year, and has a variety of articles, themed issues, and conference proceedings. All articles published since 1950, up to the three-year publication prohibition, are freely accessible at Cairn.info and Persee.fr .

The Revue Économique has an editorial peer review committee that is recognized by the academic world beyond French borders and is open to contributions from authors from around the world. Submissions are reviewed by an international peer review committee and published in French or English, depending on the author’s native language.

Due to the rigorous evaluation procedure and the high quality of submissions, the Revue Économique is ranked among the top French social science journals according to the National Center for Scientific Research, or Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS). It is referenced in RePEc, Scopus, Jstor, Econlit, and others. With more than 350 issues published, it is an economic journal of reference, enjoying a wide circulation in France and abroad.

Objectives

The goal of the Revue Économique is to publish research in all areas of economics, both theoretical and empirical; it is open to all points of view. In addition, the publication wishes to keep alive its tradition of openness by publishing articles that are representative of all economic schools of thought. It also fosters exchange between economics and other social sciences through special issues focusing on specific issues, using cooperation and confrontation methods with other disciplines: history, sociology, law and psychology.
