Alternative economic spaces are established throughout a heterotopia that reshapes the powers linked to money. Although the subsidiary sovereignty these establish attempts to compensate for the limitations of a national currency, it also reveals the power-related challenges to an economy created by money by determining the conditions that make society possible.
