English
The movement for women’s wages, concomitant with the rise of the service sector, results in the externalization of domestic work and, by extension, to the public sphere of the standard system, until then characteristic of the private sphere. The redefining of this dividing line tends to destabilize the frames of work and employment, particularly in the mostly feminized “service à la personne” sector, reinforcing forms of gender domination.
