Located at the crossroads of two pieces of doctoral research, this article proposes a reflection on the mobilisation of medical and social personnel alongside those in a position of insecurity. Although the mobility of those experiencing homelessness has been the focus of several pieces of research (path to housing, flow between street and accommodation), the mobility of medical and social actors has not been as thoroughly documented. Here, we examine mobility as an employment condition and the material and territorial configuration of medicosocial support. Based on the study of two mobile teams working in social housing in the Île-de-France region, we shall analyse how mobility contributes to maintaining a mentality of urgency and to creating a lack of availability in medicosocial support. Furthermore, we shall demonstrate how mobility, in a context of regional intervention, complicates the construction of a local partnership-based network and influences reasoning for policy direction.
