Psychosocial risk factors are usually analyzed as a pathology resulting from labor activities. Few research works take into account the “risk” part of PRF management. Where they do, the conception of risk is classical and mechanistic, which does not help actors to cope with PRF in risky organizational situations. This paper provides a new framework that aims to eradicate risks in order to cope with PRFs before they become catastrophic. To illustrate this theoretical framework, the paper presents a method of implementation using one of the major European models for coping with PRF situations: the SOBANE Model.
