This paper revisits the representations related to the figure of the foreigner in French fiction cinema. What is his place in this landscape called fiction? Based on the cinematographic work and covering all French fiction movies, this field research is inspired by the work of Edgar Morin, who considers the cinematographic fact to be an institutional and sociological fact.
