Within the associative world, young, precarious, and isolated workers in small structures who have special relationships with their employers are quite far from the classic profile of the union member. Thus, they are not inclined to unionize. Countering this trend, in 2010, workers from non-profit organizations created a trade union to represent themselves. This article analyzes the creation, structure, modes of operation, and the members of this union. It shows that the form and actions of this union are part of the transformations of this world of work and of its members and allow us to explore the place given to the employer within it.
