Digital technology has been a part of our everyday personal and professional lives since the mid-1990s. It has gradually altered our relationship with space, with time, and with “others,” and it now plays a major role. For social action, the key question is that of accessing and appropriating digital technology as a complement to other, more “traditional” modes of relations between individuals.
Since 1964, the CEDIAS-Musée Social has edited the quarterly journal Vie sociale, which deals with social issues both in terms of reflection and research and in terms of aiding decisions and social action on the ground.
